Travel

Throughout the summer, I worked primarily out of Barton Malow's Charlotte office, where I participated in multiple construction job site tours across the region. In South Carolina, I toured active construction projects and had the opportunity to shadow a project manager, superintendent, and engineer. In Charleston, South Carolina, I attended networking events to help strengthen Barton Malow's presence in the area. In Southfield, Michigan at Barton Malow's headquarters, I attended the annual in-house MARCOM Summit, a two-day Marketing and Communications conference bringing together the department across all regions. The summit consisted of professional development through trainings, panel discussions, presentations, and organizational updates. In both Orlando, Florida, and Macon, Georgia, I also had the opportunity to tour active construction job sites, gaining additional exposure to projects across different markets.

3D Renderings

As an Architectural Design Specialist, I created detailed 3D renderings of custom residential outdoor spaces using Structure Studios, transforming client concepts and ideas into realistic visual representations of proposed designs. Starting from initial concepts and site measurements, I developed accurate digital models that incorporated layouts, materials, landscaping elements, elevations, existing grades, and client specifications to create realistic depictions of completed projects. These renderings and virtual walkthroughs were used during client presentations to enhance design communication, support decision-making, and provide a clear visualization of the project before construction began. I collaborated with clients throughout the design process to refine renderings based on feedback, ensuring each final visualization accurately reflected their vision while supporting preconstruction planning and project development.
